Founded in Augusta in 1928

Andrew Jones Kilpatrick and Warren Bothwell began serving investors in Augusta in 1928. The firm took the A.J. Kilpatrick name in 1949 and became A.J. Kilpatrick & Company when Richard Cree Kilpatrick joined the business in 1962.

Thomas joined his father in 2005, becoming the third Kilpatrick generation in financial services. In 2009, they re-established the firm through an affiliation with LPL Financial. Thomas continues that work from the firm's Monte Sano Avenue office.

Thomas is an Augusta native and a third-generation financial advisor. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia in 1993 and joined his father, Richard, in 2005. Together they re-established A.J. Kilpatrick & Company through an affiliation with LPL Financial in 2009.
